While cotton paper has often been used in business, there are actually a great many uses for such fiber based products. In addition, whether using such paper for historical documents, school assignments or creative endeavors, one can often save money while helping the environment. As such, when given the opportunity, one may wish to select such fiber based products over products made from tree bark or other sources which are not as environmentally sound.

However, as cotton often weighs different from most other products, one may want to assure one purchases the right size and weight for the printer or copy machine one plans on using for such a project. In addition, one may also want to assure that the color paper selected is appropriate for the ink one may be using at the time. For, if one is going to print both black and white and color, then one may want to consider using white or beige. Although, if one is printing in black and white, most colors work just fine.

In addition, one may want to assure that the color paper one selects is appropriate for the color ink one may be using at the time. As such, one can assure that all printed material is clearly legible. In addition, while white is often the primary color of such paper, one can often find such paper in many different colors and sizes.

One may ask how one can assure that the paper one is buying is made from such fibers. While many other forms of paper are made from alternative sources, it appears that cotton is the only one which has a watermark to identify it as same. However, it remains hopeful that other natural fiber based products will find some form of an identification marker such as a watermark to guarantee that such products are in fact eco-friendly.

In addition, for those who prefer to still use tree based paper products, if one can at the very least use recyclable and recycled products, one can still help the environment by doing so. Of course, one may wish to avoiding the use of any products which are created with dangerous chemicals. For, in doing so, one can most likely also save money on health care costs in the future.

To this end, when possible it is always best to choose cotton paper based products, or those made from other eco-friendly fibers. Of course, if one can not use such products due to allergies or other issues, then at the very least one may want to consider using recycled tree based products. For, in doing so, one can not only still help save the environment but one can also generally buy such recycled paper in bulk which can often be a greater value than buying individual reams of such products.
