There may be some cells left over under the surface of your skin after removing moles, which can cause them to regrow. If this does happen, the next mole will be darker than the original mole. There is minimal risk with removing moles, and unless the mole is very large, there will be little scarring.

Moles generally appear on people when they are fairly young; however, they can continue to appear and multiply as we age. People have many reasons for removing moles, one of the main reasons is to improve their appearance. If a mole gets larger or changes shape, it is advisable to have a doctor look at it.

Some home remedies for removing moles can be as effective as having them excised. Quite a few of these remedies incorporate simple ingredients that you probably have in your house right now. One such home remedy uses the juice of onions, which you apply to the mole on a regular basis.

There are other remedies, including applying crushed garlic to the mole many times daily and covering the area with a band aid. Dandelion roots can also be effective, you would express the liquid from the root directly on to the mole and cover that with a band aid.

Certain people insist that a mixture of castor oil and baking soda can remove moles. You simply mix the ingredients and apply the paste directly to the mole.
