The initial stage of a break up is a depressing phase. No one wants to be in a position such as that one. You have mixed emotions such as anger, sadness, and loneliness and there may be times that you want to call him up so you can get back together with him. Before doing that, you may want to increase your chances of him coming back.

When you’re ready, you should give him a call but there are certain rules you must follow in order to avoid sounding so desperate.

You should take a break from all these problems in your life and learn to enjoy yourself more. You have to feel good about yourself if you want to talk him someday. If he sees you moping around and always depressed, it is going to be a major turn off for him. Keep telling yourself that you are better than this. He is not the only guy in this planet; there are others better than him.

Ladies, after a break up, tend to spend most of their time in their rooms. This will not help you at all. What you should be doing is calling all your friends and planning all your getaways. Go to the beach or climb a mountain. Do anything but stay in that room. You must accept the fact that your ex just isn’t there anymore.

To help you with your healing process, think of what guys find attractive. They like girls who are independent and are confident in themselves. Guys are not attracted to girls who don’t have a life outside her relationship with her boyfriend. Guys would definitely pick the independent girl over the clingy one at any given day.

So, how do you know if you are now ready to call him up so you can meet up? While talking to him, if you aren’t nervous, then that’s a good sign. This usually means that you’re over the fact that he broke up with you and you’re okay with just being friends.
